Everyone! Until recently, you had to start a company or be a high value investor to own upside in a startup. Now, anyone can refer a company to OnePager for a chance at investor returns.

All founders need to do is use your referral link to sign up for OnePager and we’ll handle the rest. You don’t need to introduce them to us manually via email or some sort of connection.

After you send a founder your referral link they will be prompted to fill out a OnePager. Once founders fill out their OnePager they will be evaluated based on completeness and relevance to our investor audience. We want to share as many great companies as possible - if they’re an actively fundraising startup that takes the time to fill out their OnePager we’re happy to share it.

No. OnePager’s main purpose is to help founders get exposure to great investors. We are not a fund.

However, after we introduce a founder to a great investor who ends up leading the round we will sometimes ask the founder for an allocation in the round. This is totally optional, but it’s a great way for founders to build off of the momentum they’ve found through OnePager. We fill those allocations with Angel investors through our syndicate and earn 20% carry. We share that carry with you.

Investor Day is the name of the bi-weekly newsletter that we send to 1,000+ top VCs and Angels. This is the vehicle we use to get OnePagers in front of top investors and it's the primary way we get founder’s fundraising exposure. If a company you refer looks like a perfect fit for specific investors in our network we will also share them with those investors directly.

The Investor Day audience includes over 1,000 active investors. Investors are either invited directly by us or have applied to join the audience. The majority of the audience are professional investors (VCs) and we include a number of active Angels as well as scouts for other leading funds.

You will get paid in carried interest by receiving 25% of the carry we earn when we successfully raise for a company you refer us through our syndicate.

Carried interest is the primary way general partners get paid for managing a venture fund. It represents the percentage of profits that will be paid the organizer of a fund or investment vehicle. Note that founders are not required to give away additional equity than they otherwise would—carried interest comes out of investor profits as a fee for organizing the deal. Read more about it here.

Our top priority is getting the founders we work with exposure to the best investors in the world. We do that for all of the founders we work with whether we invest or not. For founders that we connect successfully with "signal providing" investors, we will also secure an allocation (the option to invest in the round) that we then expose to a network of Angel investors. The rough math: If our syndicate invests $200K into a company that you help source, then you'll get 25% of our carry (about 20%), or 5%–as if you had invested $10K into the company yourself.

After creating a link, it's yours to share. When founders use your link to sign up for OnePager, you'll get an email confirming your referral. We'll follow up via email to give you access to a personal dashboard where you can see all of the companies you’ve referred and their progress.
