How do you know people need what you're making?

Two things:


a) Social anxiety holds many lonely people back from putting themselves out there and connecting with others via existing offerings. By reducing participation down to a simple opt-in swipe and eliminating potential rejection we can solve this problem.


b) People form connections passively over time. It's not all about activities. It's about being surrounded by people you're likely to get along with (online) who you could also potentially meet offline (local). This is why creating a content-rich environment is vital to helping people find connections that last.

How do or will you make money? How much could you make?

Our recent Kickstarter campaign was 180% funded with almost 20% of pledges coming from outside our network.

How do you know people will pay for your solution?

By launching into a dense pre-existing community via our Facebook group (20k members @ 2% market penetration) we will leverage that traction as we expand city by city in a model similar to Tinder. Using existing networks as a beachhead is cost-effective and repeatable.

How will you get users? This idea is the type that faces a chicken-and-egg problem in the sense that it won't be attractive to users till it has a lot of users, how will you overcome that?
